1971 Masaru Kohno 15 (Sold)

Classical Guitar 1971 Kohno
Model: 15 Masaru Kohno (formerly Kono) was born in 1926 in Mito, Japan. Kohno worked as an apprentice for Arcangel Fernandez. In 1967, Kohno was awarded the Gold Medal at the Elizabeth's Concourse International Guitar Building Competition in Belgium. This guitar, made in Kohno's old small workshop, was the second highest price guitar he made in 1971. The # 20 was the highest price. According to my correspondence with Masaki Sakurai, Kohno made all the tops of the guitars with his label. This is a first rate concert instrument in beautiful condition and at an unbelievable price.
